Why therapy?

Thankfully, we’re leaving the time behind when therapy was stigmatised as an indulgence, or reserved for those with clinical diagnoses. And of course it’s an ancient and well known spiritual truth that “life is suffering”. We all at times feel like we’re struggling, or stuck, or craving change, either in ourselves or our circumstances.

Receiving support at these times from people we have honest kind relationships with is part of the joy of being fully human. And sometimes we need to seek out someone who doesn’t already know us, and who will hold the highest standards of confidentiality and acceptance, who is dedicated to travelling closely with us through this leg of our journey.
